Joan Bryant Worrell, 62, of Austinville, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Worrell is survived by her husband Elton (Hap) Worrell of Austinville; sons & daughters-in-law Glen & Ruth Worrell of Staunton, VA, Bill & Mandy Worrell of Lebanon, VA, and Alan & Kellie Worrell of Austinville, VA; brothers & sisters-in-law Cecil & Faye Bryant of Galax, Pearlie & Shirley Bryant of Richmond, Earnest & Debbie Bryant of Stafford, VA, and Mrs. Dorothea Bryant; sisters & brothers-in-law Lorena Llewellyn of Richmond, VA, Rodessa & Edward Semones of Martinsville, Norma Gregory of Buckingham, VA and Shirley & Charles Starr of Lynchburg, VA; and four grandchildren Virginia Lauren Worrell, Michael Alan Worrell, Daniel Glen Worrell and Isaac Creed Worrell.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 5, 2007 at Coulson Church of the Brethren at 11:00 AM with Rev. Russell Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the Coulson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday night at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Coulson Church of the Brethren.
