Joan Severance, 74, of Hillsville passed away on Friday, July13, 2012 at Twin County Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald S. Severance, Sr.; parents, Lawrence and Emma Orf Adams. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and David Lineberry of Woodlawn; son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Heather Waller of Fries; sister, Shirley Boulet of White Field, NH; four grandchildren, Santana Lineberry, Jillian Lineberry, Crystal Lineberry, and Michael Waller; special friend, Ken Michael. A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 7:00 PM at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the Church on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
