Joan H. Lovill, 70, of Troutman, NC, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Lovill was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Hilmer and Gladys Pearl Lowe Hawks. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Hawks.

Survivors include her husband, Otis Dean Lovill of the home; children, Anthony Dean Lovill of Troutman, NC, Donald Lee Lovill of Troutman, NC, April Lovill Weatherman-Kennedy and Johnny Kennedy of Statesville, NC and Brian Dwayne Lovill of Troutman, NC; sister, June Upchurch of Lambsburg, VA; sister-in-law, Frances Hawks of Winston Salem, NC; and seven grandchildren, Christopher Lovill, Alexis Lovill, Austin Josey, Adam Lovill, Emma Lovill, Tyler Weatherman, and Alexander Weatherman.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. David Troutman officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 19,2 018 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
