Jo Ann Hall, 77 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 in Mississippi.  Mrs. Hall was born in Mississippi to the late Lorenzo J. and Betty Smith Terwilliger.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Reed Hall and step-mother, Mary Jean Terwilliger.

Jo Ann was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hillsville.  She was also a teacher for the Carroll County School System teaching for 31 years at St. Paul School in Cana.

Survivors include her daughter, Marie Hall; grandchildren, Katelyn Eberhart (Hayden) and Kyle Nester; great-granddaughter, Ava Grace Hayton; brothers, Ronnie Lee Terwilliger (Sue) and Eddie Agnew (Becky); and sisters, Beckie Lee Cobb (Grey) and Janice Nassour (Michael).

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the First Baptist Church in Hillsville at 2:00 PM with Dr. Lawrence Childs and Pastor Zeb Hicks officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
