Jewell B. Lineberry, 81, of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Lineberry was born in Carroll County to the late Posey M. and Rodoska Dalton Baker. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Gilmer S. Lineberry; brothers, Moir Eugene Baker; and sisters, Freda More and Belva Baker. She is survived by her sisters, Geneva Goad of Hillsville, Guida Weddle of Floyd, Virginia Marshall of Kernersville, NC, Eillen Moran of Floyd, and Elva Price of Dallas, GA; sister-in-law, Nelda Sue Baker of Floyd; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Mike Wells officiating. Burial will follow in the Coulson Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
