Jessie Iris Kimble Turman, 103 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Twin County Regional Hospital. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Turman was born in Carroll County to the late William and Ada Martin Kimble. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Eugene Turman; daughters, Janet Turman and Linda Boyd; grandson, David Webb; great-grandson, Jesse VanAllen; and several siblings.

Survivors include her children, Joyce Turman, Sandra Weddle and husband, Steve, and Michael Turman; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at Gladesboro Cemetery with Pastor Nathan Montgomery officiating. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
