Jessie Branscome, 89 of Willis, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Branscome was born in Carroll County to the late Noah and Emma McPeak Branscome. Survivors include his wife, Geneva J. Branscome of the home; son, Arlis Dale Branscome of Willis; daughter and son-in-law, Dianna Nester and Darren Austin of Fancy Gap; and granddaughter, Tia Cheyenne Austin. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 at New Harvest Ministries at 11:00 AM with Pastor Roy Bentley officiating. Burial will follow in the Branscome Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
