Jerry Mack Simone, 73 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2023 at High Point Regional.  Mr. Simone was born in Carroll County on December 16, 1950.  He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Marshall; mother, Amelia Kenny Marshall; wife, Phyllis Simone; and brothers, Gary Simone, Larry Simone, and Tommy Simone.

Survivors include his children, Mechelle Simone and Billy Mack Simone; grandchildren, Chevelle Simone, Devin Simone, Tyler Simone, Billy Carico, Dakota Bullion, Logan Simone, and Landon Simone; and twelve great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Jeff Pickett and Mr. Terry Simone officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
