Jerry Wayne McKinney, 65 of Hillsville passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2009. Mr. McKinney was born in Winston Salem, NC to John Henry & Jessie Clara Bowman McKinney. He was preceded in death by his father. Mr. McKinney is survived by his wife Betty H. McKinney of the home; mother Jessie C. McKinney of Advance, NC; and brother & sister-in-law John & Betty McKinney, of Winston Salem, NC.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Nelson Cemetery with Rev. Robert McClean officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery beginning at 1:00 PM prior to the graveside service.
