Jeffrey Sterling Strickland, 59, of North Hollywood, California, formerly of Fancy Gap, passed away on November 28, 2014. Mr. Strickland was born in Carroll County to the late Harry and Jane Strickland. Survivors include his brothers and sisters-in-law, Mikel and Kathy Strickland and Harold and Judy Strickland all of Fancy Gap, and Namon and Joan Strickland of Hillsville; niece, Melissa Strickland; nephews and spouses, Wil and Kari Strickland and Jared and Sydney Strickland; great niece, Hadli Jane Strickland; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and special friends, Aldo Otanez and California friends and family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 3:00 PM with Rev. Randy Rippey officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 until 3:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
