Jeffrey Wayne Barr, 51, of Galax, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2014. Mr. Barr was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth York Barr. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Tony Brooks of Hillsville; father, William Barr of Hillsville; brother, Billy Barr of Portland, OR; and grandchildren, Justin Beasley, Blaise Jefferson, and Zoe Barr. A graveside service with burial following will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Monta Vista Memory Gardens with Pastor Andy Edmonds officiating. There will be no visitation. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
