Jeffery James Tobler, born May 1, 1970, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024 at his home in Galax. Jeff will be remembered by many as a sweet, dedicated, and passionate Coach and Mentor. He spent over two decades dedicating his time and energy to young Cavalier Athletes and sharing with them a love of football, basketball, and softball. His love for sports was only exceeded by his love for his family.

Jeff wore the title of "Papa" with great pride and loved his six grandchildren with his whole heart. He was a loving and supporting father to his two children and a doting husband to his wife of 33 years. Jeff will be missed by many, but the joy, laughter, support, and love that he shared with those around him will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy, his son, Nicholas (Staphany), and his daughter, Makayla (Melanie). Also surviving are: mother, Freida Edwards, father, James Tobler (Becky), sister, Janet Galyean (Nathan), brother, Wess, brother-in-law, Kevin Hill, as well as his six grandchildren: Teagan, Tekoah, Tekyiah, Tallin, Oaklynn, and Chloe, nephews Tanner Galyean, Brody and Brent Hill, and nieces Breanna Galyean and Kinsey Hill.

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 27, 2024 at 4:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Wendell Horton officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
