Jeannie Linda Darrh, 54 of Galax, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.  Mrs. Darrh was born in Korea to the late Rufus and Son Cha Song Meeks.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Darrh and a sister, Kathy Felts.

Survivors include her children, Cameron Darrh (Alexis), Corey Darrh, Christy Scott, Michael Scott (Melissa) and Tiffany Bauer (James); grandchildren, Emily Sawyers, Isiah Scott, Blair Scott, Connor Scott, Hunter Kamden, Luka Darrh, Jacob Morris, Nathaniel Bauer, Mya Bauer, and Leah Bauer and two on the way; siblings, Nancy Quesenbery (Jeff) and William Meeks (Shannon); brother-in-law, Rodney Felts; and nephews, Alex Quesenberry and Shawn Meeks.

A graveside service with burial will be held on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Felts Cemetery at 11:30 AM with Rev. Charles Lindquist officiating.  The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Monday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
