J. B. Dalton, 84, of Hillsville passed away on Saturday January 18, 2014 at the Golden Living Center. Mr. Dalton was born in Carroll County to the late Roscoe and Elva Jennings Dalton. He was also preceded in death by eight brothers and one sister. Survivors include his six brothers, Clarence Dalton, Conrad Dalton, Ferlin Dalton, Richard Dalton, Olen Dalton, and Don Dalton all of Hillsville; six sisters, Ann Whitaker of Sparta, TN, Inda Mae Quesinberry of Woodlawn, Sue Easter of Cana, Ocie Sutphin of Hillsville, Kay Gardner of Dugspur, and Kathy Rothgen of Concord. A Graveside service will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Jennings Cemetery. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Dalton family.
