Jay R. Montgomery 84 of Fancy Gap, VA passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his, wife Linda Montgomery; son, Matt Montgomery; parents Joe and Mary Montgomery.

Survivors include his children and spouses, Jayne and Steve Hall of Hillsville, VA, Kelly Worrell of Woodlawn, VA, and Mike Montgomery and Lori of Enon, Ohio; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Skyview Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Wendell Horton and Pastor Gary Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb-Skyview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Skyview Missionary Baptist Church on Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Skyview Missionary Baptist Church 129 Skyview Drive, Fancy Gap, Virginia 24328. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Montgomery family.
