Jaxon Lee Rigney, infant son of Robert and Brenda K. Rigney of Cana, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2012 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin. In addition to his parents, Jaxon is survived by his brother Austin Rigney and sister Madison Rigney both of Cana; paternal grandparents, William Curtis Rigney, Jr. and Esther Mae Rigney of Fancy Gap; and an uncle, Larry Ogle of Cana. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Roy and Faye Quesenberry, Tiffany Hiatt, OB Staff at Hugh Chatham, Dr. Peter McIlveen, and the Staff at Total Women Care. A graveside service with burial following will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Solid Rock Baptist Church Cemetery with Roy Quesenberry officiating. There will be no visitation. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
