Jasen Michael (Supersmack) Surmanek, beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend, passed away on November 14, 2024 surrounded by family and love. Jasen's life was defined by his kind heart, willingness to always help others, quick wit and a smile that could light up any room.

Jasen is survived by his wife, the love of his life for 20 years, Lindsey Surmanek, and his sweet baby girl Oaklynn Surmanek. He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings Deborah Beck, Richard Surmanek, Cara Surmanek and Joey Surmanek. Nieces and nephews Harley and Kailey Lewis, Camble and Kelsey Beck, Andrew and Abria Brady. His in-laws Diane Garland, Dallas Beck, Baley and Stephen Brady, Melissa and Cliff Graham. Close friends Jasper Beamer, Garrett Goad and Mark Dalton.

Preceded in death by his loving parents Ralph and Cebie Surmanek, grandparents Mary and Don Carr, father-in-law Dave Garland and sister Christine Surmanek.

Jasen was dedicated to his career as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. He loved his job but loved his patients and co-workers most of all. He touched countless lives through his expertise and kindness by helping individuals achieve their goals and independence.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will forever be remembered as an amazing husband, loving father, loyal friend and inspiration to many.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Blue Ridge Country Club in Galax, Va on December 1 at 1:00.
