Janice Goad Hudnall, 64 of Dugspur, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Hudnall was born in Carroll County to the late Lewis Wise and Ila Horton Goad. Survivors include her husband, Lance Hudnall and son, John Hudnall.

Janice was a 1970 graduate from Carroll County High School and a 1974 graduate from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. She worked as a social worker for Wythe County Social Services for 26 years. Janice was a talented artist and stained glass craftsperson. She was a loving wife and mother and an avid nature and animal lover.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be sent in Janice's memory to Twin County Humane Society, P.O. Box 125, Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
