Janice Jackson Bowen, 82 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Novant Forsyth Medical Center.  Mrs. Bowen was born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late James W. and Eleanore Thomas Jackson.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James M. Bowen.

Survivors include her sons, Jim Bowen (Donna) and Bill Bowen (Jennifer); and grandchildren, Tyler Bowen, Dalton Bowen, and Emma Bowen.

A graveside service with burial will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at the Dalton Family Cemetery at 11:00 AM with Rev. Roland Mathews officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Draper's Valley Presbyterian Church, 2755 Old Baltimore Road, Draper, VA 24324. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
