Janice Tilley Beeson, 67 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2007 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Janice was a well-known seamstress, devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved gardening and the outdoors. She was preceded in death by her parents William & Ruth Tilley; brother Raymond Tilley and sister Jane Tilley. Survivors include her husband Joseph R. Beeson, Jr. of the home; son Joseph Michael Beeson of Hillsville; daughter & son-in-law Jane & Bill Farist of Ranger, GA; step daughter & spouse Angela & Glenwood Beamer of Hillsville; brothers & sisters-in-law Don & Robinette Tilley of Statesville, NC, Arnold & Gail Tilley of Mooresville, NC and Richard Tilley of Mooresville, NC; sister & brother-in-law Rachel & Dan Kale of Rock Hill, SC; mother-in-law Opal Beeson of Hillsville; brother-in-law & spouse Dan & Nancy Beeson of Pilot Mt., NC; five grandchildren and two step grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Norman Goad officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinson Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday night at the funeral home.
