Janetta Anders, 82, of Meadows of Dan, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows. Mrs. Anders was born in Grayson County to the late Alex and Zuba Mae Bates Rutherford. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clineard Anders. Survivors include her children and spouses, Virginia (Sissy) and David Wyre of Elkton, MD, Jerry and Ada Anders of Elkton, MD, and Frances Anders of Woodlawn; four grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two great great granddaughters; sister-in-law, Faye Isenhower; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the Pendleton Family Cemetery with Pastor Ernerst Pendleton officiating. There will be no visitation. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
