Janet Elaine Turman, 69 of Laurel Fork, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart. She was preceded in death by her father Virgil Eugene Turman and a son David Webb. She is survived daughter & son-in-law Karen & David Allen of West Jordan, UT; mother Jessie Kimble Turman of Stuart; brother Michael Turman of Stuart; sisters & brothers-in-law Joyce Turman of Laurel Fork, Sandra & Steven Weddle of Raleigh, NC, and Linda & James Boyd of Patrick Springs; grandchildren Jesse Van Allen and Jeff Van Allen; and great grandchildren Tyler Van Allen, Ethan Van Allen, Emma Van Allen, Olivia Van Allen, and Brayden Van Allen.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Oscar Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the Gladesboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 AM until service time.
