Janet Marie Stevens, 88 of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  Mrs. Stevens was born in Canada to the late Harold and Jennie Goodspeed. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Ralph Hilson Stevens and a brother, Donald Goodspeed.

Janet and her husband, Ralph were the owners and operators of R.J. Ranch for over 30 years before selling in 2001.

She is survived by her children, Debee King (Allen), Julie Cheves (Ron), Susan Stevens, Pamela Ridge, and Scott Stevens (Suzzette); sister, Peg Davidson (Joe); eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

There will be no services at this time.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
