Janet Louise Roberts, 70 of Pulaski, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2011 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. Mrs. Roberts was born July 29, 1941 to Mary Louise Starkey and the late Cornell Robert Duncan. In addition to her father she was also preceded in death by sons Michael Anthony Roberts and Randall Lee Roberts. She is survived by her husband Archie Hampton Roberts of Allisonia; mother Mary Louise Starkey of West Virginia; her children Archie Wayne Roberts, Gary William (Ace) Roberts, Curtis Hampton Roberts all of Pulaski, and Sharon Juanita Roberts of Hillsville; sisters and brothers-in-law June Marie and Harold Lee Reno of Pulaski and Joyce Ann and Gene Mason of Winchester; five grandchildren Laura Kristine Roberts, Courtney Elizabeth Roberts, Hannah Grace Roberts, Clinton William Marshall, and Darren Hampton Roberts; two great grandchildren Breanna Nicole Taylor and Christopher Scott Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Minister Dennis Trail officiating. Burial will follow in Dry Pond Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 26, 2011 at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
