Jane Quesenberry Strickland, 74 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows. Mrs. Strickland was born in Virginia to the late Rufus Winton & Louisa Ruth Burnette Quesenberry. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Harry Byrd Strickland and sister Virginia Quesenberry Culler. She is survived by sons & daughters-in-law Mikel & Kathy Strickland of Fancy Gap, Harold & Judy Strickland of Fancy Gap, Jeffery Sterling Strickland of Los Angeles, CA, and Namon & Joan Strickland of Hillsville; brothers & sisters-in-law John & Carole Quesenberry of Walkertown, NC, Noel & Linda Quesenberry of Greenville, SC, and Dwane & Becky Quesenberry of Walnut Cove, NC; and grandchildren & spouse Wil & Kari Strickland, Melissa Strickland, and Jared Strickland.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady with Rev. Randy Rippey, Rev. Oscar Hill and Rev. Sandy Hendrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Tate Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday at 1:00 PM until service time.
