Jamie Hawks , 44, of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015. Mr. Hawks was born in Galax, Virginia on November 22, 1971. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Charles Hawks.

Mr. Hawks is survived by his mother and step-father, Barbara and Bentley Parish of Hillsville; son, Brett Hawks; daughter, Amy Sturgill; sister, Courtney Hawks of Pulaski; special aunt, Betty Bullion of Dobson, NC; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastor Doug Goad officiating. Burial will follow in the Isaac Banks Cemetery.
