Jamie Lee Gravley, 22, of Mount Airy, NC, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mr. Gravley was born in Galax, Virginia on February 14, 1990. Survivors include his wife Melanie Gravley of the home; son Jayson Gravley of the home; parents David and Dee Anne Brooks of Hillsville; sister Samantha Gravley of Hillsville; brother John David Brooks of Hillsville; maternal grandmother Jewell Melton of Austinville; niece Hannah Brooks; and nephew Hayden Brooks. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 22, 2012 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Larry W. Brooks and Mr. Rocky Sutphin officiating. Burial will follow in the Brooks Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday one hour prior to the funeral service.
