Jamie Lee Fariss, age 95, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022, at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows.  He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Pierce Fariss.  He is survived by his wife of 75 years Laurie M. Fariss; one daughter Jewel Sue Spencer and husband Robert of Meadows of Dan, VA; one step grandson Brian Martin of Richmond, VA; special nieces and nephews; and many special friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at the Love Cemetery, Kinzer Road (Rt. 650), Hillsville, VA, with Elder Tim McGrady officiating.  Flowers are appreciated; however, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Love Cemetery, ℅ Ms. Hattie Mae Love, 206 Orchard Road, Ararat, VA  24053-3598.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
