James Fred Surratt's Obituary
James Fred Surratt, 80 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the Veterans Medical Center in Salem. Mr. Surratt was born in Carroll County to the late Simon & Mary Myers Surratt. He is survived by his wife Joy Lee Surratt of the home; son & daughter-in-law David & Laura Surratt of Hillsville; and two grandchildren James Walter Surratt and Verlin Dean Hall.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
