James Allen Stone, 48, of Burlington, NC, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. Mr. Stone was born in Pulaski Virginia to Gary H. Stone and Carol Stone both of Laurel Fork. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his son, Sean Walter Stone of Burlington, NC; brother and sister-in-law, Travis and Rachelle Stone of Laurel Fork; sisters and brother-in-law, Christy and Charles Stevens and Kim Wrenn all of Laurel Fork; and girlfriend, Janna Shofe of Star, NC. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
