James W. (Sonny) Anders, 57 of Laurel Fork, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at his residence. Sonny is survived by his mother Janetta Anders of Laurel Fork; sisters & brother-in-law Frances Anders of Laurel Fork and Virginia & David Wyre of Elkton, MD; brother & sister-in-law Jerry & Ada Anders of Elkton, MD; three nieces; one nephew; two cousins; five great nieces; three great nephews; and special friend Sandra Phillips.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 1:30 PM at the Eliza Boyd Cemetery in Meadows of Dan with Rev. Carlos Rigney and Rev. William Meeks officiating. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Thursday from 12:00 PM until 1:00PM.
