James Roosevelt Stilwell, 100, of Dugspur passed away on February 16, 2008 in Galax. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Frances Stilwell of the home; son and daughter-in-law James Guy & Elva Stilwell of Dugspur; daughters and sons-in-law Maxine & Gene Choate of Galax, Carol & Bill Amstutz of Dugspur; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The funeral service will be on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel. Burial will follow in the Dry Pond Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 18, 2008 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Flowers are appreciated, or donations may be made to the Dugspur Rescue Squad.
