James Colen Newman, 20 of Dugspur, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015. James was born on November 8, 1994 to Joseph Newman and Paula Mabry Perdue both of Dugspur. In addition to his parents, James is also survived by his brother, Randy Perdue of Dugspur; sister, Jessie Vernon of Bassett; special aunt, Carolyn Armentrout of Hillsville; and many close friends. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 6:00 PM with Rev. Wendell Horton officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Skyview Missionary Baptist Church 129 Sky View Drive, Fancy Gap, VA 24328. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
