James Delmon McPeak, 76 of Dugspur, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at his home. Mr. McPeak was born in Carroll County on March 19, 1946. He was preceded in death by his father, Shirley R. McPeak.

Survivors include his mother, Florence Nester McPeak; children, Joseph McPeak and Lori Huss (Neil); and grandchildren, Baylee McPeak and Charles Thigpen.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Elder Melvin McGrady officiating. Burial will follow in the McPeak Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 until 1:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
