James Maynard Marshall, 72 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023 at his home. Mr. Marshall was born in Hillsville to the late Robert Lee and Ila Marie Lineberry Marshall. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Marshall; and sister-in-law, Terri Marshall.

Survivors include his children, Eric Marshall (Missy) and Whitney Merrion; grandchildren, Austin Marshall, Kassidy Marshall, and Kalvin Thomas; brothers, Doug Marshall (Juanita) and Clayton Marshall; sister-in-law, Shirley Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the R.J. Camp Ground Club House from 2:00 PM until 11:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
