James Oley (Jim) Hall, 67 of Hillsville, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2006 at his home. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his parents Pierce F., Sr. and Daisy Hall; his son Travis Scott Hall; grandson Chris Elizalde; and brothers Jr. Pierce Hall, Bobby Ray Hall and Guy Walter Hall. He is survived by his wife Doris Hall of Hillsville; daughter & son-in-law Betty & Prospero Elizalde of Dobson, NC; sons & daughter-in-law James Randy Hall, Timmy L. & Karen Hall and Brandon Scott Hall all of Hillsville; brothers & sisters-in-law Billy Joe & Dorothy Hall of Fancy Gap and Harold Dale & Glinda Hall of Hillsville; sister & brother-in-law Mary Anna & Jimmy Hiatt of Fancy Gap; seven grandchildren, and one great grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2006 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Wendell Horton and Rev. Jim Longest officiating. Burial will follow in the Nelson Cemetery. The family will receive friends form 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
