James Glenn Marshall, 70 of Woodlawn, formerly of Dugspur, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Golden Living Center Blue Ridge. Mr. Marshall was born in Carroll County to the late Roosevelt & Flora Alice Marshall. He is survived by his brother & sister-in-law Loman & Carolyn Marshall of Woodlawn; sister Alice Marie Marshall of Dugspur; two aunts Mary Ruth Meenns and Estelle Padgett; nephews & spouses David & Leahann Marshall, Glenn & June Akers, and Jimmy Utt; niece & spouse Michelle & Shannon Austin; several great nieces and nephews and several cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. David Moore and Rev. Owen Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Dry Pond Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 15, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
