James (Jimmy) Floyd Matney, III, 29 of Hillsville, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2006. Mr. Matney is survived by his parents Jim and Judy Matney of Hillsville; girlfriend Michelle Lundy and her children Laci Lundy and Drew Branch of Hillsville; sister & brother-in-law Traci & Davalon Alley of Hillsville; half brother & spouse Bronson & Rhonda Cox of Rural Retreat, VA; grandparents James Floyd Matney Sr. and Lena Matney of Crockett, VA and Patsye Hawthorne of Rural Retreat, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday night at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 7:00 PM with Rev. Terri Gregory officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM prior to the memorial service.
