James Carroll Felts , 59 of Wytheville, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Wytheville Community Hospital. Mr. Felts was born in Martinsville, VA on February 22, 1958. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Felts and a grandson, Luke Allen Neal.

Survivors include his wife, Laurie Felts of the home; daughter, Jennifer Lee Felts of Hillsville; sons and daughter-in-law, James Walter and Sonni A. Felts of Hillsville and Justin W. Felts of the home; step-daughter, Brianne M. Dove and step-son, Quinn A. Dove both of the home; mother, Martha Davis Austin of Hillsville; father and step-mother, Melvin and Dea Felts of Galax; brother, Allen D. Felts of Hillsville; grandsons, John Matthew Neal and Levi David Neal; and granddaughter, Morgan Lee Felts.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Paul Longmire officiating. Burial will follow in the Independence Cemetery.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family at 1190 Fisher Road, Wytheville, VA 24382. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
