James Roscoe Alderman, 87 of Hillsville, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Twin County Regional Hospital.  Mr. Alderman was born in Carroll County to the late Everett and Hallie McRoberts Alderman.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Alderman Lawson.

Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Alderman; son, James Ronnie Alderman and wife, Bernice; brothers, Frank Alderman and Glen Alderman; sister, Zenith Moore; grandchildren, James Chris Alderman and Kaylan Lawson; great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Brittany, Seth, Luke, Lilah, Christina, Alexis, and Brooklyn; and two great-great-grandchildren, Olivia and Hayden.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM.   Burial will follow in the Green -Hill Thompson Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
