Jackson "Jack" Worrell Cooley Stokesdale, NC Mr. Jackson Worrell Cooley formerly of Hillsville, Virginia passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Countryside Manor in Stokesdale, NC where he resided with his wife Mildred for the past 6 years. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM, Hillsville Christian Church where Mr. Cooley was a charter member. The family will receive friends prior to the memorial service at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel from 9:00 - 10:45 AM. Mr. Cooley was born June 11, 1920 in Carroll County, Virginia to Everette Rudolph and Molly Kate Worrell Cooley. Mr. Cooley was preceded in death by parents, Everette and Molly Kate Cooley; brothers, Rudolph, Barton, Joe, and Frank Cooley. Mr. Cooley is survived by his wife of 69 years, Mildred Quesenberry Cooley; sons, Bobby (Marsha), Jerry (Joyce); grandchildren, Penny Cooley Loschin (John), Corey Cooley (Stephanie), Chris Cooley, Brian Cooley; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Loschin, Ainsley Cooley, Ryland Cooley, Steven Cooley. Memorial contributions may be made to Hillsville Christian Church 120 Edgewood Dr. Hillsville, Virginia 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
