Jack T. Norman, 77 of Mt. Airy, NC, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019 at The Citadel at Winston Salem. Mr. Norman was born in Surry County, NC to the late Henry and Loline Hawks Norman. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Joe Norman and Billy Norman and a sister, Brenda Gravely.

Survivors include his wife, Frances L. Norman of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Carl Thomas of Dobson, NC; grandson and spouse, Chris and Traci Thomas; great-grandchildren, Lynzie Thomas and Will Thomas; and siblings and spouses, Frances and Bobby Billings of Dobson, NC, Roger and Glenda Norman of Mt. Airy, NC, Sherry and Anthony Martin of Mt. Airy, NC, Rhonda and Gurney Atkins of Dobson, NC, Edward Norman of Charlotte, NC, Geneva and John Valley of King, NC, and Glenda Norman of Mt. Airy, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jerry Purdue officiating. Burial will follow in the Stevens Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral services. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
