Iva Frances Jones Spears 77 of Galax, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Paul and Bessie Jane Campbell Jones; children, Mark Spears and John Spears; sister, Cheryl Jones.
Survivors include her children, Matthew Spears, and Jennifer Privett both of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren, Jocalyn Rose Spears, Cheyenne Nicole Privett, and Elizabeth Jane Privett; great-grandchild, Mona Leigh Ann Beth Frazier; special friend, Zelda Youngblood.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
