Irvin Richard Latta, 88 of Hillsville, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024 at The Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Mr. Latta was born in Greensboro, NC to the late George and Ola Mae Sutphin Latta.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Latta; son, Richard Lee Latta; and grandson, Michael D. Smith.

Survivors include his children, Keith Latta and wife, Shelia, Vicky Lynn Latta and Vince O'Keefe, and Kim Latta; grandchildren, Jake Latta and Justin Latta; siblings, Marvin Latta and wife, Mary and Dot Tomlinson; special companion, Lois Gean Webb; special friends, Darrell and Vickie Quesenberry; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the memorial service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
