Millie Irene Conner Goad, 86 of Dugspur, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at her home.  Mrs. Goad was born in Floyd County, Viriginia to the late Jabe Harmon and Millie Eva Belcher Conner.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Hansen Delano Goad; daughter, Carol Goad; brother, Henry Conner and Oral Lee Conner; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary and Waymon Wood, Rachel Conner, and Ester Conner; brothers-in-law and spouse, Hollis and Sophie Goad, Willis Quesenberry, and Roy Frazier.

Survivors include her children, Jodie Goad of Dugspur, Jamie Goad of Dugspur, and Lesa Love of Roanoke; grandchildren, Tyler Goad and Braden Goad; siblings and spouses, James Conner of Floyd, Jabe Conner, Jr. and Kathy of Floyd, Glen Leo Conner and Susan of Floyd, Susie Hickman and David of Eden, NC and Becky Conner; sisters-in-law, Ovalene Quesenberry and Mardell Frazier; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastor Wesley Conner officiating.  Burial will follow in the Cox Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
