Irene A. Flowers, 81 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at her home.  Mrs. Flowers was born in Wythe County, Virginia to the late Arlys and Eula Mae Hall Atwell.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Daryl Reid Flowers, Sr; and sons, Daryl Reid Flowers, Jr. and Barry Flowers.

Survivors include her son, Chris Flowers; grandchildren, Bryan Flowers, Bruce Flowers, Danielle Elizabeth Flowers, Chandler Ryan Flowers, and Haley Katherine Flowers; sisters, Lucille Arnold and Rosie Gross; and brother, Robert Corvin.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Joe Bryant officiating.  Burial will follow in the Gardner Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
