Irene Mae Beasley Felts, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother has taken a permanent trip to Gods most beautiful garden, where she was reunited with her parents Ellis and Ella Beasley, infant daughter, Joan Lynn, and son-in-law, Howard Alderman on Saturday evening. She will be happy tending her vegetable garden and nurturing her beloved violets. She will keep a clean mansion and will be visiting Elvis Presley and Bill Monroe and flat footing into eternity as they pick and grin because in heaven theres no tomorrow. Her family will spend their remaining years remember her vivacious tenacity and love for life. Cherishing the many memories until we meet again are her daughters Brenda F. Alderman (Carlos), Sandra Jean Felts, and son, Gary W. Felts (Shirley); her grandchildren Mickey, Kim, Sydney, Jessica, and Little Garry; her great-grandchildren Brandon, Keeley, Julia, Ruslan and Stephanie Windsor; Two special nephews Eugene Beasley and Glenn Beasley. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening, June 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel in Hillsville. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, June 12 at 2 p.m. at the chapel. Interment will be in the Thomas Beasley Cemetery in Austinville.
