Irene Laveta (Dalton) Spangler, 90, of Laurel Fork passed away on Friday, October 18, 2013 at her home. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Alcora Dalton daughter, Janet Alees Spangler; brother, Tipton Dalton. Survivors include her husband, Garland B. Spangler of the home; daughters and son-in-law, Carolyn Spence and special friend Everett Sutphin of Laurel Fork, and Norma and Lowell Pratt of Willis; son, Roger Spangler of Hillsville; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 3:30 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Harold Fenstermaker and Pastor Jason Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in the C.B. Webb Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October 20, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Spangler family.
