Imogene R. Sutphin, 74 of Dugspur, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Sutphin was born in Carroll County to the late Posey Miles and Clonie Phillips Reese. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Orba Lee Sutphin. She is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law Mike Sutphin of Dugspur, John & Brenda Sutphin of Pulaski, and William & Dorcas Sutphin of Indian Valley; sister Peggy Reese of Dugspur; grandchildren Richard Sutphin of New Mexico, Ashley Combs of Max Meadows, Brandey Sutphin of Indian Valley, Hayley Sutphin of Pulaski, and Elaina Sutphin of Indian Valley; and great granddaughter Zoe Sutphin.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 4:00 P.M. at Calvary Bible Church with Rev. Ed Lanning officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at a later date.
