Imogene Bolt May Dix, 85, of Laurel Fork, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. Mrs. Dix was born in Carroll County to the late Bill and Betty Thomas Bolt. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Dix; and children, Sharon May and David May. Survivors include her children and spouses, Janice and Mark Comer of Danville, Darrell May of Ringgold, Linda and Roy Holley of Danville, and Susan May Holland of Ringgold; siblings and spouses, Geneieve Branscome of Laurel Fork, Warren and Juanita Bolt of Hillsville, and Archie and Peggy Bolt of Meadows of Dan; nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. Burial will follow in the Nester Cemetery in Laurel Fork. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, one hour prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
